The Spartan Air EDRWS sports a high-efficiency filtration system that requires no tools in order to be maintained. The two-stage filtration system includes a replaceable filter pad with tackifier (a material that collects dust and helps it stick to the filter), and a primary, washable, air dust filter that captures dust as small as smoke particulate. In order to get the most out of your Spartan Air EDRWS, intermittent filter maintenance is beneficial.

Below is a step by step cleaning guide on proper filter maintenance, and how often the filters need to be cleaned.

1. Remove the work surface grate to access the replaceable pre-filter pad and primary filter.

2. Replace the used filter with a replacement filter. One pre-filter pad will last for 25-30 typical computer cleanings. If you require replacement filters, they can be found on our “Order” page.

3. The primary air dust filter requires cleaning every 100-125 typical computer cleanings. This filter does not require replacement, and simply needs to be removed and washed.
